Miss Jen



 

Miss Jen brings education, experience, dedication, patience, encouragement, enthusiasm, and a refreshing passion & energy, to the classroom. She opened First Beginnings Preschool with the vision of providing a safe, nurturing, fun, encouraging, environment that supports children in finding their self confidence, while bringing their own interests, strengths and needs into a happy welcoming place, where they can not only prepare for future learning, but develop a lifelong love of learning, feel a sense of belonging, and providing a place her students want to come to! Miss Jen is not only highly qualified, she truly loves teaching and adores her little co-workers, and it shows! Each day when she individually welcomes in each child with a smile, and a "Good Morning I am so glad you are here!", she means it. She loves spending her days with her preschool family!
Over her many years teaching she has developed a unique understanding of children and how they learn, and is constantly continuing her own education, eager to learn new & exciting ideas to bring to the classroom. She knows that a good teacher is also a life long student. Miss Jen believes it is her role to come alongside & support parents as part of their team in shaping the character, values, goals, and vision they have for their children. 
As a mom of 3, she knows first hand the benefits of a teacher who comes alongside a parent.  
When not teaching, Miss Jen can be found hanging with her family, cheering on the Seahawks & Mariners, cooking, crafting, dreaming up fun vacations to take, reading, and checking out local hiking trails.
